Shark teeth are a symbol of good luck and strength. The word mako comes the Māori language and means either a shark tooth or the shark. The modern mako measures approximately 10 feet in length and swims at 42 miles per hour, the fastest swimming shark on record!
This hypnotic mako fossil tooth features a warm brown root with a rich crown of grey with blue and yell highlights that finishes off with a fierce point. Gorgeous colors! The tooth measures approximately 1 7/8” from tip of tooth to corner of the root. The bale is made from heavy gauge gold fill hard wire.
