A beautiful handmade bronze Gallimimus sculpture. Gallimimus a genus of theropod dinosaur that lived in what is now Mongolia during the Late Cretaceous period, about 70 million years ago. Gallimimus is the largest known ornithomimid; adults were about 6 metres (20 ft) long, 1.9 metres (6 ft 3 in) tall at the hip and weighed about 440 kilograms (970 lb).
Meticulously handmade by award winning bronze sculptor Nelson Maniscalco. His dynamic dinosaur and paleo-sculptures have been internationally recognized as anatomically accurate, detailed skeletal representations of extinct animals that inhabited the earth millions of years ago. Nelson's work has been commissioned by various museums including the American Museum of Natural History, the Australian Age of Dinosaur Museum and his work is displayed in galleries and private collections throughout the world.
