How awesome is this historic megalodon tooth? The megalodon is a prehistoric type of shark that people consider to be the largest and most powerful animal that ever lived. Megalodons are estimated to grow up to a monstrous 60 feet. This approximately 12 million year old tooth was found in Bone Valley, Florida, in the phosphorus mines of Polk County. The mines have since closed making these teeth hard to come by. Take home this tooth while you still can!
Our Bone Valley Megalodon Tooth Pendant features unique coloring with a grey blue root and the rich charcoal on the crown. The shark tooth measures approximately 1 7/8” from the tip of the tooth to the corner of the root along the longest edge, and the root is 1 1/2” wide. The bale is made with Sterling silver hard wire.
