Whaler’s Locker is so excited to present you with this behemoth A+ grade fossil megalodon tooth. Not only is this tooth gigantic, but the colors acquired during fossilization are gorgeous! The Otodus megalodon, the largest shark we have fossil record of, has been extinct for around 2.6 million years, and was believed to reach lengths of almost 60 feet! Don’t miss out. This tooth is a real treasure.
This fossil megalodon tooth measures approximately 6 1/16” from the corner of the root to the tip along the longest edge. The tooth features a matte coffee brown root, a clear bourlette, good enamel and excellent serrations along both edges of the crown that displays beautiful symmetry. As I mentioned, the colors in this tooth are quite unique fading from a rich tawny to a deep sage on the edges. The tooth has undertones of green with orange highlights. Fabulous! At its widest point the tooth measures almost 4 1/4” across! This indicates that this tooth came from a very large megalodon. Move faster then a mako if you want this tooth. She won’t last long!
The tooth you will receive is the exact one pictured and has not been restored or modified. Reference code: Meg56
