This megalodon tooth fossil measures 5” from the corner of the root to the tip of the blade on the longest edge. The crown is a beautiful, jet black color with a matte black root. It features good enamel, defined bourlette, intact root and serrations along both edges. Given the shape and size of this tooth we think it is a lower jaw tooth from an extremely large megalodon.
