This fossil megalodon tooth measures approximately 6” from the corner of the root to the tip along the longest edge. The tooth features a matte rusty brown root and a light polishing on the crown that reveals a warm, dark brown core. The contrast between the dark center with the taupe edges really make this tooth stand-out. The edges have excellent serrations along both edges of the crown. At its widest point the tooth measures about 4 3/4” across! This indicates that this tooth came from a very large megalodon. Move fast. She won’t last long!
