1 7/8 Inch Hawaiian Mouflon Sheep Maui Fish Hook on Dacron Cord

Hand carved Maui fish hook made by local artist Ray Peters. This stunning hook is carved out of Hawaiian Mouflon sheep horn sourced from the Big Island, and measures 1 7/8” tall. Hand wrapped with a handmade flemish twist Dacron cord in black.

Ray’s classic designs are based on traditional Hawaiian fishhooks. You may be familiar with Ray Peters as he is an accomplished scrimshaw artist who has been working with Whaler’s Locker for over 30 years. You will find some of his scrimshaw art here, and at the shop.
