Baltic amber is tree resin from pine trees that lived 44 million years ago that fossilized, and became the beautiful substance we know today. Amber has been used by cultures all over the world for not only ornamentation, but for anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties.
This natural piece of bourbon Baltic amber is set in a simple frame of genuine .925 sterling silver. The rich color is not so dark that you can’t observe the beautiful inclusions within. The length in total with bale measures approximately 1 1/2" by just over 1/2" in width.
