The Gallimimus is a genus of theropod dinosaur that lived in what is now Mongolia during the Late Cretaceous period, roughly 70 million years ago. Gallimimus is the largest known ornithomimid known to man. Adults measured approximately 20 feet long, six feet tall at the hip, and weighed about nearly a thousand pounds.
