If you love the mystery of the ocean, you’ll love our Bone Valley Megalodon Tooth Pendant. This megalodon tooth was found in a phosphorus mine in Bone Valley, Florida, and is estimated to be 12 million years old. The location coloring quality of this shark tooth make it a particularly rare find, especially because the mine where it was recovered is now closed. Whaler’s Locker is so excited to be able to offer this amazing piece!
This shark tooth has unique Bone Valley coloring with a mottled white-grey root and bourlette with a deep gray crown with undertones of yellow. The shark tooth measures just under 1 7/8” from the tip of the tooth to the corner of the root on the longest edge, and the root measures approximately 1 3/8” wide. The bale of this pendant features heavy gold fill hard wire to easily hang from your favorite chain.
