Whaler's Locker is proud to offer another talented scrimshander, Pete Lange. Pete was raised in Seattle during the 1960s learning the trade and art of scrimshaw from his father. As soon as he was able, he found himself polishing ivory for the artists. It wasn't long before he tried his hand at scrimshaw art, and from there he has been creating different arts ever since.
Pete Lange's detailed artwork is presented on a classic Ken Onion design, the Kershaw Leek. This drop point high-performance stainless steel Kershaw Leek with bone scale and clip is functional piece of art.
The Leek closed measures 4" closed, 7" open and a 3" high-performance 14C28N Steel blade.
The Kershaw Leek designed by Ken Onion just may be the ideal EDC. With its 3-inch drop point blade, the Leek is a good-sized knife, but not too big. The slim design makes it easy to carry and its razor-sharp blade of high-performance 14C28N means it can take care of a full range of cutting tasks. This Leek is all stainless steel with a sturdy frame lock. It opens one-handed with Kershaw's assisted opening.
